These pieces play with the repetitive framework and geometric rules that govern landscape painting. I am interested in how the visual rhythm created by regular occurrence of rectangular buildings in an open landscape create anticipation for the next occurrence. The  geometric rules of one or two point perspective and light & shadows can be followed, distorted in places, or ignored. What are the consequences of these choices?
